What if graffiti could be loved instead of looked down upon?

I’m Haitian-American, and I grew up in China. For a long time I felt pretty disconnected from my roots, so I started digging into where I come from, especially the culture and the creativity. Graffiti kept showing up. Before it was a headline or something on a police report, it was just people speaking up. It came out of Black communities as a way to express who they were.

TAGG is my way of taking that story back. I wanted to make hoodies that carry the colour and attitude of graffiti, without the baggage that usually comes with it. It’s graffiti you can wear proudly, out in the open, and hopefully people see it and appreciate it.

But TAGG is about more than art.

I lost my grandmother to Alzheimer’s, and I wanted her memory to live on through something good. That’s why 100% of TAGG’s profits go to the Alzheimer’s Association, supporting care, support, and research for families facing the disease.

Wear your mark.
